Geraci Law Downtown Indianapolis

320 N. Meridian #1022

Indianapolis, IN 46204

The Law Office of Peter Francis Geraci opened its doors in Indianapolis over 20 years ago. Now operating as Geraci Law LLC our attorneys are regulars at the historic Birch Bayh Federal Building and United States Courthouse, rededicated in 2003 to honor our late Senator Bayh. Bankruptcy Meetings and Hearings are conducted here for anyone living between Muncie and Bloomington.

The Courthouse opened in 1905 in a Beaux Arts-style architecture. The building was designed by John Hall Rankin and Thomas Kellog from Rankin, Kellogg, & Crane operating out of the Philadelphia area. The Courthouse’s design inspired the other buildings in the area including the City Hall, Central Library, and the Indiana World War Memorial Plaza. For more information on this historic building you can visit the Museum on the first floor between 8:30 – 4:30 daily, or arrange a tour by emailing tours@insd.uscourts.gov.

You can visit the Bankruptcy office of Geraci Law LLC downtown Indianapolis at another historic building conveniently located just across Meridian St. from the Courthouse. We are located at 320 N. Meridian Ste. Suite 7001 in The Chamber of Commerce Building. The Chamber of Commerce building is a historical landmark that was built in 1926 and has been family owned and operated ever since. The building also houses the office of the Chapter 13 Trustee John Hauber and the office of Retired Chief Judge of the Bankruptcy Court, Judge Frank J. Otte.

After your visit to our office feel free to grab some lunch and have a picnic across the street at the Indiana War Memorial Plaza, which contains two museums (free of charge!), three parks, and 24 acres of monuments, etc. Indy is only second to Washington DC in the acreage and number of monuments dedicated to veterans, which makes sense because the engineer, Alexander Ralston, who designed downtown Indianapolis was an assistant to French architect Pierre L’Enfant who planned Washington DC. Although the City has expanded substantially since originally designed in 1850; the downtown area has remained nearly unaltered from Ralston’s original plan.
